I just wanted to throw out a feeler to anyone in the southwest CT area. I'm a total noob when it comes to working on my trunk and really should not be doing any significant work on my own. I have been doing as much research as I can regarding suspension lifts and have just about decided on the 2" spacer/AAL kit from Nisstec for a starter/budget lift. I was hoping someone local might be willing to "show me the ropes" and give me a hand with the installation one weekend this spring/summer. I have really been enjoying making some small mods to my X lately and would love to learn more. I have a 3 ton floor jack, a pair of 6 ton jack stands, and a basic assortment of hand tools to bring. I wouldn't mind driving an hour one way and have no problem providing beer of course. Let me know if interested. Thanks :eek:ccasion5:

If you're willing to drive a little ways I have access to a lift and all the tools we will need and there is a great alignment shop less than two miles away. I'm in the Springfield area of MA

That sounds great. It's really not a bad drive straight up 91. Just a heads up, I'm nearly positive I will need to cut out and replace my LCAs which will make the day a little tougher. I'm already planning on picking up a couple of Moog replacements. I really appreciate the offer and I'm definitely interested.
