I may be buying some leather seats out of a 2012 pro 4x and am just wondering if they will have seat heaters...

'13 and up do get heat.

Before '13 the upsell to get seat heaters was to move up to a Pathfinder.
Also some Frontiers also have heated leather as an option on the top grade.

You can take the seats apart and add the heaters.

not true....my 13 pro4x does not have seat heaters and they are not even offered. I have leather, nav, tow (everything available from the factory)

OK, so it is 14 and up that get the heaters and the 13 and down (not 12 and down as I stated) that are unheated.

I knew that most years were unheated and just recently they started with the heated option. But it still stands that a '12 will have unheated leather seats.

My vehicle was sent to a shop in St Louis and I have a full Katzkin leather interior with heated seats in my 2012 Pro4x. Make days like today very toasty! =) I just asked the dealer if I can get leather in the Pro4x and they made it happen.
