Why you brought it in for service/repair: The rear wheel fell off the truck.

What happened while you were at the dealership: I met a guy named Jody who was a member of club xterra and a manager of some sort at that dealership. He stayed on top of my repairs (even though he didnt work in the service department). I got frequent updates from my service advisor (this was the most surprising).

Would you go back for future service: Absolutely

Would you recommend this dealership to your mother: Yes... in fact the day my truck was finished being repaired she bought a pathfinder from them... and got a screaming hot deal!!

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Leaking Tire
What happened while you were at the dealership: Took the tire in 3 times. First two times, they denied that anything was wrong after looking at it for 10 minutes. "It's cold outside, so tire pressure is dropping." After stopping at gas stations to refill the tire every 2-3 days, I took it back and demanded a fix. They replaced the valve stem finally and the problem has been solved.
Would you go back for future service: Probably

The good news was they did all this for free, and I know that's asking a lot for a dealership service center. But then again, I bought the car from them and have an extended warranty. Any recs for other service/dealers in the area?

Courtesy usually is a great dealership to deal with. They even sell parts online and are one of the cheapest places to get them. Just make sure you tell them the price you saw was on the website when you go looking as they will sometimes try to sell you the item at the normal in store price and not the discounted online one.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Oil Change
What happened while you were at the dealership: Express Oil change supposed to be under 30 min, took 1hr 10 minutes. Had coupon from Nissan for $15 off cabin filter. Parts dept took over 40 min to decide whether they would honor the coupon or not.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Oil Change
What happened while you were at the dealership: $9.99 oil change for life of vehicle, went in to get my oil change expecting to pay my regular $9.99 oil change that they say is free with the purchase of a new truck, but if you look at your sales receipt they charge you $1000 for it. So I pay for my $60 oil change which I was a little irritated because for that price I would have gone synthetic I was informed I missed my 20k service I void my contract with them. I was then told that someone should have told me about it in the service bay.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: 60K mile maintenance, 4x4 won't engage, over heating, broken CV boot (didn't know the name of the part at the time, so I just told them to check the driver's side wheel well), extreme vibrations while driving

What happened while you were at the dealership: I called in to see if they would still work on it eventhough it is EXTREMELY muddy. Girl on the phone said "yes." I show up and got turned away for the mud because they "do not have hoses to clean the areas needed to be worked on." So I took it home and cleaned the engine bay and undercarraige- I left the doors still muddy because that part didn't matter. I dropped it off the following day and called after about 4hrs for an update. No one had written down my information on the ticket (name, number, reason for drop off). I explain everything that needs to get taken care and get a call the following business day. They 60k mile maintenace has been complete. I ask if part of that is rotating tires and allignment. They said yes, but the allignment is just them visually looking at the tires for wear. I ask if they found any damage. They said no. I told them to check the driver's side wheel well for a broken joint-looking thing. Got called back saying everything is fine. I asked for a personal phone number of anyone working there so I can text a pic of the damage. Finally, they call back saying they found the damage but do't have the part. It's dirveable, so I pick it up. I arrive and my ticket only has an oil change, over heating issue, and the fixing of 4x4. The 60k mile maintenance is listed on the ticket but says no work was done. I ask about it, and she goes and prints a new ticket. This one has a 30k mile maintenance check accomplished. I was going to ask how they rotated my tires since I have locking lug nuts, but forgot due to the ticket mix up. I go out to my vehicle and it's been washed with a pressure washer. So much so that the side molding on the passenger side is gone. I found it in my back seat. I dirve about 1 mile away from the dealership and it's over heated into the red.

Why you brought it in for service/repair:Infiniti trunk torsion bars came off. Could not figure them out and not listed in FSM.
What happened while you were at the dealership:They immediately took the car in the back. Put the torsion bars back on, came out, handed me my keys, shook my hand and said "no charge."
Would you go back for future service:Yes. I rarely take my vehicles in for service, but I'll make it a point to get some parts from them.
