Why you brought it in for service/repair: Clutch was slipping like hell
What happened while you were at the dealership: Service Manager said that a clutch was a normal wear item and would not be replaced under warranty. I had 26000 miles, 85 % highway.
Would you go back for future service: Would you? I really can't answer this based on my experience, but a couple of people at work have told me horrible stories about Team Nissan of Marietta and I'll have to say a big no I would not go back even to get a NSB worked on.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Passenger side rear seat back fell off (the fold flat version)
What happened while you were at the dealership: This was right after i bought it. They where very enthusiastic about fixing it. They wanted to make me happy. It was great. It happened twice and they replaced the whole seat back frame the second time to make sure it was right and apologized for the inconvenience!
Would you go back for future service: I wouldn't think twice. They are awesome. My family has bought 2 vehicles from them and my dad is looking at a Pathfinder right now. They always, always help us.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Oil change/possible replacement of cam bolts
What happened while you were at the dealership: Brought my own oil, had them do labor and provide filter. Done for reasonable price, I think about $16. Refused to do anything about cam bolts without jumping thru too many hoops. Ended up buying them on this forum and had them installed when alignment done.
Would you go back for future service: Yes, if warranty work, or oil change.
Would you recommend this dealership to your mother: No (Based more on sale than service)

Why you brought it in for service/repair: 3750 mi svc / oil change
What happened while you were at the dealership: I asked the service writer prior to making the appt if they would install a K&N oil filter. I was told yes. I asked if they had Mobil 1 available & was told no, but they would use it if I provided it. When I arrived at the dealership, I confirmed with the service writer that I had my own oil & filter and pointed to the box on the passenger seat. When I picked up the X, my invoice noted I had provided oil & filter. I was only billed for labor. When I got home, I noticed oil dripping. The mechanic had not pulled the skids & there was oil everywhere. He had also installed a Nissan filter instead of my K&N. I called the dealer & spoke with the general manager. He stated that it was against policy to install aftermarket filters. He advised that I could return to the dealership & they would refund the labor charge. I returned the next day for a refund & asked what happened to my filter. The service manager found the filter & returned it. He said the mechanic had completed the work before being informed I had my own oil & filter. When I asked for my oil, he then stated the mechanic had used it, but not the filter. The service manager also alleged using a K&N filter would void my warranty.

What happened while you were at the dealership: Complete trans failure on my 09 SE 4x4 at 7900 miles. Brought to dealer on Sunday afternoon. Handed keys to a G35 rental, no questions asked. Waited for new unit & install less then two weeks, vehicle returned perfect. No questions, no excuses, and no charge whatsoever.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: spark plug change out
What happened while you were at the dealership: performed plug change in 40 minutes. yes 40 minutes. stated i needed expensive fluid flushes when i did not. tried scaring me into them. i suspected that they did not change the plugs as the book states this is a 2-3 hour job. With the attempt to sell me unneeded services, I questioned the spark plug change though found out they did replace them all in 40 minutes. Kudos to the mechanic. Not so much to the service writer who tried scaring me into the tranny flush.

Would you go back for future service: yes Only if they acknowledged that they were trying to scam me which they will not.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: coolant system flush- in past various other under warranty things.
What happened while you were at the dealership: flushed the system and installed the OEM hoses I brought free of charge. They have always treated me right and treat me with respect- even though I bought from MJN in durham and not them. They did try to sell unneeded services in the very beginning of my relationship with them but they soon realized I knew better so backpedaled and stopped trying to insult my intelligence.

Would you go back for future service: Yes, just let them know you know what you are doing with your truck.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Intermittent engine rattle under load between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM - especially on hills, and normally at the higher end of that RPM range when preparing to shift to next higher gear.
What happened while you were at the dealership: Went for test drive with technician, but unable to duplicate. Technician basically said I probably did not know how to drive a stick and likely just had too high a gear selected (this is my 3rd MT vehicle, and I also drove MT fuel trucks in college). He refused to check with Nissan Technical to see if it could be the VIAS vibration issue, or to inspect the vehicle further. Proceeded to tell me that my warranty would be voided in its entirety if I modified my truck in any way. I told him to get out of my truck and drove off the lot.
