Name of dealership: Clay Nissan of Norwood (MA)
Why you brought it in for service/repair: Busted half shaft, blown differential, 4WD not working (obviously)
What happened while you were at the dealership: Mechanic said that there was a dent in my lower control arm (which there is, but it's old and rusted over) so they weren't going to cover it under warranty (abuse). I spoke with the service representative and the service manager, re-told them my whole story and got them to take another look at it. They did, and covered everything (entire front diff, half shaft) under my warranty along with a U-joint that was whining in the front driveshaft.

The service rep I spoke to was Steve. He's a young guy who's very reasonable to deal with.

What happened while you were at the dealership: Had a few small issues up till this point wasn't happy and said as much to the sales manager who basically told me to bad for you and tough luck. Service manager was more accomodating fixed it right the first time and gave me a loaner in spite of the sales manager saying he couldn't help me out with a loaner. Took 27 days to get a new rear axle. Covered under warranty.
Would you go back for future service: Yes becauuse of the service manager.
Would you recommend this dealership to your mother: No because of the sales manager

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Heat controls not working in dead of winter

Why you brought it in for service/repair: After the third control nob replacement under warranty they finally figured it was the heater box. They had to remove the entire dash to get at it. Scratched every piece of plastic from the front seats foward and took 4 months and 5 trips to get finally replace/repaired.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Lower Lumbar Seat Motor went out which caused the Automatic Positioning System to totally go out on my 05 Maxima.
What happened while you were at the dealership: They kept my car for 2 days and then called me to tell me when it was done. I arrived and was presented with a 350.00 dollar bill for labor that was due to what they called a badly executed factory recall performed by a Nissan Dealer where we bought the car. This car was 2 years into a 7 year gold plus Nissan warranty.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: No Service/Repair
What happened while you were at the dealership: I bought my X there, it is also a Jeep Dealership where I had purchased one before my X/Coming to the Light Side. Great customer service, very clean and organized, just overall a great business deal. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the financial manager. He had a poor attitude and one of those wannabe biker bada$$ types. He still did his job though so not much to complain about.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Rattling noise coming from under the truck - obviously an exhaust hanger has failed. Said they "didn't hear any rattle" during a routine oil change, but would be happy to take a look for $90. Where has customer service gone? Monroe put a clamp on it for free.

What happened while you were at the dealership: Watched my old Mazda (that the dealership blew the engine in) drive into the shop get an oil change. 2 hours later my X pulled into the shop and no one touched it for another 45 minutes then the service manager came out and told me I would have to come back later.

Why you brought it in for service/repair: Get a quote for transfer case bearings
What happened while you were at the dealership:got treated like I'm an idiot, was told lies and excuses that had nothing to do with the issues. All I needed was a price and they refused to look at it. Got the "it's been altered" BS. Rude and immature people there. Stay away!
Would you go back for future service: definitely not!
Would you recommend this dealership to your mother: nope! She isn't a fan of Nissan after bad experiences with her 240..
