Hello fellers--- My goal is a higher lift than the current AC spring/shackles I have now. I saw these spindles ---
(http://www.cstsuspension.com/products/sfID1/12/sfID2/8/sfID3/47/productID/388)

--- , determined they will fit my rig-- but I think there's more to it than a simple bolt and go aside from an alignment.

The questions are (for the front end only):

What other components will I need? UCA's? brake lines? ABS ext?
If I keep the AC springs does that mean a total of 5.5 inches of lift?
If this lift is successful will women want me more, less. Or the same?

I'm in grad school so money is TIGHTSKI but available for necessary additional components. Necessary for a trouble free on/off road ride that is. For the record—this lift is 70% cosmetic 30% functional. This is my A to B vehicle for now.

Thanx for the help

2. as muzik said, spindles are for 2wd vehicles only

3. if you have a 2wd X and still want spindles call greg at prg products, he carries a spindle kit for the fronty/xterra

these guys said it!
The spindles PRG sells are the CST's... super beefy, top notch quality.
NO uca needed.
YES AC springs will work for more lift.
YES, women will throw dem drawz at ya.

You need to run at least an AAL+shackle in back to get it somewhat level

The only time I have been able to erase a topic is if no one else has responded. I think the only way to do it now would be if everyone deleted their response until your original posting was left and then you might be able to delete it.

We'll leave the topic here. It'll be a good reference for the next person.

Remember, no such things as a stupid question.
