---I finally ordered an Xterra hatch tent-I've been on three camping (fishing) trips, with the X, in the high Sierras and this tent will make it a little more convenient for lngress and egress (just kidding),you know in/out--that 20% makes it a pretty good deal--

Y/W Jimbo. Congrats on your new tent. Glad you are enjoying your X. The X is fantastic for sporting. I really love having the integrated roof rack.

I was thinking about getting the 20% off interior bicycle rack but think I will save even more and build my own. I made a quick one a couple of months ago but have a new design idea that should be much better.

Sorry to hear that Clamper, hope your order and ass will be ok

I ordered from them a couple of months ago with no problems. I did notice that you can't combine online orders for new generation X items with items from the older X; they consider new X and old X as seperate stores for some silly reason. Since I had both types of items, I just called them on the phone and they combined the order for me so I could save on shipping.

I also placed an order with them yesterday and they shipped it later that same day - not bad.

I must say though that I have had a lot of bad luck with internet vendors in general. Is always a PITA to have to send stuff back and get screwed on the shipping costs. Sad to say that there is an incredible amount of incompetence out there

I will say this for now....I have been informed from a good, trusted source that when queried about Courtesy, there is a reason why parts are cheaper there.....my Timing belt replacement on the "01" that I performed a few months ago has not gone well...research already indicated it was an aftermarket belt re-boxed, re-labled, wrong size......when I tear into it this weekend, I will know for certain.....I have a new one that was measured and confirmed accurate before sale...They even waived the fee for all inspection and labor after finding out what allegedly happened to me....

AFter a long day on Saturday, I have my '01 running smoothly, no codes, new Timing belt. The new belt fit correctly including the belt markings matching to the timing "ticks" on the Cam gears and Crank "tick"...

For history sake, I purchased a Timing Kit from Courtesy a few months ago, the belt markings NEVER lined up properly, no matter the config. I placed my Cam gears where one would imagine they should go, but no template like the belt would offer if there were correct.....Now, after replacing the belt with one that has markings to match where the Cams go, all is good...The difference was about 1 tooth total shared between Cam "ticks"...half per side...SO, in short, I believe I got screwed on my "cheaper" parts from Courtesy in the form of wrong markings and substantiated by my relationship with my local dealer( I am not a person to tout a dealer, I hate them!!!...but Napa Nissan I can say without a doubt, is honest ) who took some time to reasearch why Courtesy sells part cheaper...They are one of the types of dealerships who buy Factory branded parts from a 3rd party distribution, re-boxed, possibly re-branded parts.....Good luck when purchasing from Courtesy....I now know I will NEVER buy from them again...ever!!!!!

That bites about your timing kit from Courtesy. If you haven't yet you should certainly lodge a complaint. Would be interesting to hear their explanation. Is pretty serious if they are selling essentially counterfeit parts as genuine Nissan.

My order arrived today (wheel fork for bicycle carrier, in-cabin micro filter, oil plug crush washers). They screwed up the quantities. Whenever I order anything from anyone I'm shocked if something doesn't get f***ed up. The fork and filters are supposed to be genuine Nissan parts - hope they are. Not sure about the crush washers.

The Kit I ordered was over a year ago, I held the kit for a few months before my Timing work since I pulled the Engine and Tranny and needed to find a good weekend for it...I do not have any reciepts other than the email confirmation of shipment......They would have record me ordering cuz it was by Credit Card, but I am just going to submit to lesson learnt...Cheaper does not always meant just cheaper......I thought it was quite interesting that Napa Nissan actually took the time to research other Dealers out there...They knew about my issue for quite some time but when I brought it in last week cuz I had just given up on trying to find out the Intermittent Random Missfire problem was, they waived my "diagnosis fee"($105.00) and dug into where the part came from...Funny, I live 2 blocks from Fairfield Nissan, can't stand them, don't buy shit from them, perminant assholes...I will drive 30mil to Napa for an Oil filter just because......

OUCH! So Sorry to hear about your problems!!!

Just so you know not all online dealers use these BLACK MARKET Knock offs, I get calls all the time from these comapnies promising me that the parts will be coming in a Nissan Box..... That doesn't make it a Nissan Part.
Worst part of it is, is that a lot of Nissan delaers do this, because they can get "Nissan" Parts at 20% below what Nissan North America is charging for them.
Sometimes the saying is true, you get what you pay for, I can honestly say that anything listed on our site as Genuine Nissan, is trully Genuine Nissan, I only buy from Nissan North America, of course, my aftermarket parts whihc are labeled by their manufaturers, are not Nissan, but they will say:
Lund, Wade, Etc Etc Etc.. I would not try to pass off an aftermarket as a Genuine Nissan, that is just dishonest!

I've bought plenty of stuff for both my 350Z and Xterra from Courtesy Nissan without an issue.

Xterraclamper I'd review the law concerning slander before making such claims in a public forum FWIW.
