Intro Comments: I wanted an OR Model, but it was not available, so I looked at the difference and figured ARB would come out with a Locker and maybe both. So I went "S" 4x4 with power package. Of the things that would have come with an OR Model I tossed ....

Comments: Well here it is, almost one year to the day, 20K Miles later and lots of trial and error. A few tweaks I want to do but that's about it. My grocery getter! Thanks to the many who kept saying, "Cool X" and kept me going despite vendors testing me. And thanks to the vendors that never gave me a moments problem. Two vendors I like most have been Nissan Of Turnersville and Shrockworks ...goes without me saying! LOL And Dan, if some little lady comes up and kicks you in the shin, that was my wife for getting me started on this with your Take off the mudflaps mod! LOL It sure got out of hand from there, sway bar, Lift, tires, Rims, shocks, Timbrens, Stereo, speakers, Shrockworks, Sliders, Bumpers, skids, MM winch, KC's, and many more, too many to list!

MODS
Removed | Replaced with | Notes
Stereo | 1450 watt Model
Speakers | All Alpine, Plus a Sub and Two amps
Rims | MB Predator Rims 16X8 6-114.3 12AM | [1]
Tires | BFG 285 75 16's AT KO's
Rear Shocks | Pro Comp Adjustable 2 w/Year Warranty
Shackles | Daystar Greasable Set
Front Bumper | ShrockWorks with a mm Winch
Rear Bumper | ShrockWorks with Tire Carrier
Mudflaps (4) | Replaced em with Nothings
Floor Mats | WeatherTech in Front & Factory Rubber Rear
Roof Bin Handle | Southco Locking Bin Handle
Air Filter | K&N Filter
Fog Light Covers | Yournissanparts Fog Light Kit
License Plate Holder | Home Made Fold Down
Factory Skids | Factory One's Were Added, But replaced w/ShrockWorks
I wish I could add:
A wider set of wheels to match the tires, or have gone with OR size tires. Maybe a set of lockers, not sure I need em though, works great without!

I Did Add ~ (In Addition to the Crap I Replaced Above)
4 KC DAYLIGHTERS Hi Lights on Roof Bin, (Removable)
Daystar Front Spacers
Shrockworks Sliders, No sliders on factory S
Shrockworks Skids, No skids, but I bought paper factory OR skids
Matching size Spare tire
CB Uniden PC78XL Road King 56 NC Mic
Cobra Radar detector
A Uniden BC12 Scanner
A sound Machine, (Had to be at ECXC to hear that!)
A Junk Rocky Mountain Radar- Radar Jammer (Don't work it's a farce)
2 alarm systems
multiple switches for things
An Under the seat Air Compressor
Carbon Fiber trim
Lots of HP (Decals)
A set of fog lamps (yellow) in addition to factory white ones
Snork for the rear Diff
A Roof Basket
2 Hi Lift Jacks, One 48 and one 60"
Locking Wheel Lugs
AC power
A SUB with the stereo
A Cool Floor liner for the back
A Bolt on Inside locking bike rack
3 Flashlight holders, 1 3D cell and two AA Cell
2 Lev O Gages
A YourNissanParts keypad! (Love it!)

And a Set Of OFF ROAD Badges.... I think it deserves them. It's much more capable than a stock OR model. They do look cool, I went with three, added one to the rear hatch above the handle.

I will be Adding;
A Gibson exhaust
An Air Tank and an Air Horn
Spare water tank
Spare gas tank
A Remote start when they come out with a T harness

So, I am real glad I kept the OR package $ and used it for what I wanted. Had I got the OR package, I'd have the seat covers, and the locker left out of what comes with it. Oh! And a VDC that I would never use. So there you have it! It goes where I need it to, and places I should not go!

MC, I know you were in the Navy, but I don't think your X will float on that pond you have it aimed at... :geek:

What a nice truck though. Thanks for all the info you have shared

Looks Great Marine!

I appreciated your skid plate comparison post. Until then I wasn't going to get new skids. Sure I saw pictures of them on, but when I saw pictures of the stock skids inside the the stock ones I was sold ... well not yet but I am decided. The money doesn't follow my obsessions.

Your truck looks great and I would like to see more wheeling pictures when you get it muddy or scratched up.

It sure is a pleasure to drive, a Lot of people yell to who they are with.
"What is that?" LOL And when I am stopped, a lot of people ask about the Bumpers and sliders. They want them for the big 3 pickups it seems. I just say Jim's too busy making them for our Nissan's LOL
I'm convinced if I took the names off it, few would know what it is.
Ok, so I showed ya what it will look like, you guys get busy. I'll wait to see the pictures you post. And maybe change some things if I like it.

The money tree's blooming but not yet bearing fruit!!!
I'm stockpiling the parts I do have until I need new tires then I'm doing it all at once... it's definitely hard looking at that stuff sitting in the workshop and not putting it to use... we'll see how long I hold out.

Looks great MC!

Thanks for the kuto's!
I added my final exterior addition today. A set of Hella Black Magic Driving lamps. (Not cheap OR lights) They look great! I have go to test drive it yet and see how the flow of air is over the radiator. If it works.
I'll do my Final sitting. Show pics soon.

I'm done! That was about a $200 a week habit for a year!

Yep I just could not go without these Hella's! I ran out and bought em because I wanted that "look" Black Magic's show black when off, not shown in this picture, must be a flash thang.

Then... when you put the fire to the wire! Wha la! Wake up people!

Well, I tested the cooling, it is fine. Actually it dropped. But man, I swear it's pushing more wind!

Ok, I will put on the say what you want license frame, and the vents and that's it! I'm grounding myself! Unless Old Navy puts something up I can't resist! Shame on you Old Navy!

Edit: LOL I put on side technical lamps too. I'll never be done! I still have an air tank system to install.

Seriously, this is wonderful. Nice work. It takes time to build up to what you really really want, and this seems as if what you did. Congrats!
