Depends on how good of a job you want when done. Price can range from a few hundred to many thousands. Done right and it can look as good as factory, done cheap and it will look like a rebuilt junkyard bomb.

Speaking as someone who has done painting. The above is absolutely correct.
no to little prep = cheap
mediocre prep = mediocre paintjob

spare no expense and make it look like a factory paintjob == $$$

Knight Armor, Thank You I was drowning!.. I have to paint my roof because of chipping and signs of Arizona Pin strips on my left and right.

I want to eventually paint mine... It will be that super awesome green color they came out with in 2011. Love that color. Of course, when I repaint, I'll probably do it in Monstaliner... I'm too rough on my X to justify a complete repaint.

Sounds like youve already got a good start on a paint job to me.

The darker the color the more it shows dents and pin striping anyway.
