Just trying to gage who is in the market for a new premium radiator for the Second Gen? I've had the Griffin, it failed after roughly 4 years and was not able to be repaired due to their manufacturing process. I've since switched to CSF and looking for something soon due to the issues that CSF was having. This led me to working with CJD racing and CBR out of Lake Elsinore.

Mike (CJD) took an old CSF to Clint Berry along with his e-fan shroud (if you wanted to add an e-fan at some point) to get an exact fit copy mocked up. Most of all the off-road guys use CBR radiators and oil coolers. Even the multi-million dollar vehicles we see on the race circuit.

CBR wants $1200 for one radiator. He said the more you do the better the price would come down.

I'd like to see who would be interested in a group buy? I will pose the same question over on XN to see how many we can get.

Michael has said he will sell them on his website as they will be built to order. This will work for the current Frontier as well.

I've checked in to Ron Davis and they were 1500+ for one radiator.

please feel free to drop your name in the reply so we can start working on going forward with this.

What have you issues been with CSF? I thought it seemed like a solid replacement option, or even an upgrade over stock.

There's a reason Offroad Gorilla stopped selling them. Talk to Angel and he will give you the low-down. The only thing different between OEM and a CSF 7029 is that the CSF is aluminum. As for the issues with the CSF, it seems to be quality of construction and durability. There was some talk about it over on the FB pages this summer.

I installed my CSF about 2 months ago. Side by side, the CSF had a thicker core.

How much 'down'?! $1000? I'm not racing a trophy ruck through the Sahara and the OEM radiator lasts basically forever (compared to any of these aftermarkets). Seems like a whole lot better ways to spend that money.

Agreed. I've had no issues at all with my OEM rad in the PNW. I'm at 101k miles. I just want something that will not break really. I don't know what paying $1000 gets me vs. $500 (which is OEM?).
