Will a brush guard, from a 2003 Xterra (PN#999T4-KN000). Fit my 05 X anyone know

No, the 03 and 05 are totally different. As far as I know there are no interchangeable parts between the 2 generations.

Bush guards are not always the best things to have up front. I have seen and heard of people doing more damage to their front ends after an accident...just an FYI

a friend of mine ruined his front end after a minor collision....the shopping cart(bush guard) buckled his hood and broke his front lights....so he now has a Calmini front bumper...and its rusted to shit already.

no X is a unibody, all had frames, maybe your thinking of a Pathfinder, which swithed to unibody in 96 then back to frame in 05

I didn't know that. I had 3 Pathfinders before the Xterra, and thought that the earlier Xterra was a rebodied Pathfinder. Now that I think about it, the Xterra also always had leaf springs...

i was just thinking about this. i have a brush guard.... what if someone is stuck in the snow and needed a little push from behind? will i be okay to do this with a brush guard or will it damage something.....

A few points.

1. All Xterra's have frames (no unibody).
2. A brush guard is actually pretty light (they are VERY thin wall tubing). All might not be, but most are.
3. I would not try to do too much pushing. The way the mount, if you push too hard higher up on the brush guard it will bend back (leverage). I don't know if anyone makes an actual "push bar" for the Xterra.

Just remember they are for looks only!
And they do look nice
They are to flimsy to actually be useful.
