So in 2 days we leave for Moab. I know a few people on here already left this morning from Colorado I believe. Well, since last week my friends 1st gen has been having nothing but problems... mine too but not as bad. His list just this week:
-ignition fuse blows
-car misfires
-car overheats
-broke both automatic hubs
-radiator blows
-fan blade bends and cuts fan shroud which cuts into radiator causing more problems
My list this week:
-air filter clogged with mud/sand
-MAF sensor bolts come loose, MAF comes out of K&N intake while off-road (duct tape back in place)
-mud clogged radiator fins
-CB antenna breaks

His vehicle is fixed, except for the radiator which blew this afternoon. We are suppose to leave sunday morning, but as of now I dont know if we will. Nobody has a radiator in stock, at least the local parts stores dont. Will try more places in the morning. We've been planning this trip for a few months now, but tomorrow afternoon we will see about MOAB. I think this is a sign from the car gods, saying he needs to take care of his X... and I shouldnt drive through mud again :geek:
