so yea i have noticed a build up of battery acid on the terminals. i have cleaned them several times and it keeps coming back. does anyone know of a way to keep it from coming back. i have the stock battery but m x is less then 2 years old and i barely have 20k on it. any ideas

I've used those little disc (look almost like felt) they sell at the auto parts store that says it's supposed to stop corrosion. I think they are like 5 bucks. My jeep used to always get nasty, thought I would try those and if they didn't work I was out $5, low and be hold they actually worked.

They go on your batter post between the battery and the connection to the X

I have been told to put some vaseline on the battery posts. I did it on my jeep and it seemed to work but I don't know if there are long term down sides to it.

Clean it with baking soda and warm water. Let it dry and then hit it with battery terminal spray that you can get any place (including walmart).
