Looks in the middle of no where, What is the Majorville Medicine Wheel?

The Majorville Medicine Wheel is an ancient archeological site, older than the pyramids, if memory serves. It is in the middle of nowhere, it's a great challenge to find as the nearest town, Majorville, is almost impossible to find due to its ghost-town status.

Antonia's map is pretty accurate, I can also say it's on one of the highest hills on the West Bank of the Bow River. The site is open to the public, but it's not publicized due to the fragile ecology and historical significance of the site. First Nations people view the site as sacred, hippies and other spirit people tend to gather there as well.

Use the contact number posted at the gate to request permission to access with the lease holder, there may be ranching activities underway and you may be re-routed.

As always, stay the trail.
