Here are a few pics from the SCCX November run to Anza Borrego Desert State Park. We ran Vallecitos Wash (including the muddy stream bed section out towards the old stage station), Arroyo Seco del Diablo then around and down Arroyo Tapiado to the mud caves. After the mud caves we split up, with some folks heading off to camp, and some of us heading home.
There is water in the desert, most of the way you had to drive in the tracks, here we were up on one side briefly. Mostly you would not want to stop, for fear of spending the rest of the day (or longer) there. The smell was pretty bad, too.
That did lead us to a great view spot for lunch, though.

Another great day in the desert.
