curiose if anyone has tried using the base frontiers 15 inch wheel on the X.

What year fronty? I 99.999% sure it won't work. If it is an other model it won't work due to the stud spacing.

Hmm. Not sure, but I don't think they will. Disk brakes just fit into the 16" wheel.

Only the 2wd Frontiers have 15" wheels. They will not fit an Xterrra...though, they might fit a 2wd X, not sure though I have never actually seen one in person (a new gneration 2wd X that is).

I've been looking but can't find a definite answer.
Can someone verify whether or not Frontier rims will fit?

Random places I've checked-- some say yes and some say no.

the XE frontier's have smaller brakes, so I doubt they will fit.
