Wanted to know if anyone's running the UCA/spacer (2" or 3") combo from PRG w/ stock springs and a Shrock front bumper. If so, do you have any pics? I was curious to see how much the front end dropped as a result of the bumper weight.

I'm already running the AC coils, but I've never been quite comfortable with the fact that my shocks are topped out (and I hear the clunk from time to time). The spacer/UCA combo seems reasonably priced, and shock replacement would likely be a lot cheaper than replacing the Radflos. I just don't know how the stock springs (and the Rancho 9000s for example) would hold up the bumper, which I have ordered.

I wouldn't run that combo until someone comes up with a diff drop kit. Reason being is that Greg was running AC lift kit up front along with the 2" spacer and the TC UCA which I'm pretty sure lead to the demise of the front diff due to extreme cv angles.

I am running the Daystar lift spacers and have the Shrock front bumper and skid plates.

When I installed the Daystar lift by itself I ended up with 2 inches of lift. Since I added the bumper and skids the front has sagged 1 inch.

I am going to be replacing my spacer lift with the AC coils because of the front end sag.

I remember reading his posts. I think he was running 4.5 inches of lift or something like that. I definitely wouldn't do that. I was giving consideration to running a spacer and swapping the stock springs back in.

TO OFFROAD:

I realize that my shocks would still top out from time to time, but thought that it would happen much less if I was running stock-springs/spacers/UCA, instead of the AC coils.

On a side note... has anybody ponied up for the Radflo coilover setup yet?

The radflo's might be your best option right now. You'll be able to choose your own spring rate and adj. the height if it sags. Or do what I did and have someone hack those POS LCA mounts off and make new ones that are 3/4" farther outboard and slightly lower and then order longer CV shafts (which still aren't here) remove or modify front sway bar to not hit the lower shock mount. :geek: Point is I don't have the same angles as Greg does on my cv's now but it's been a long hard learning curve that is still in progress. Besides I haven't even put the truck offroad since all this because my cv shafts still aren't here. Also my ac coils sagged pretty good w/ the Shrock bumper and with the 2" spacer and AC coils I'm not topping the stock shocks out but each person seems to have different results. Key thing is don't add spacers with the AC coils unless you plan on doing some expensive fabricating. It only cost $400 for the LCA mounts but it's costing around $550 for the CV shafts plus 185 for a spare CV assy that I had to send to RCV performance so they could copy it. :cyclopsani:

I'm just curious, what's limiting your down travel?

Also, what's your final front lift, AC coils + 2" spacer - sagging?
