Interesting. I received a letter from Nissan that they would like to inspect and collect data from my X for about 3 weeks. If I agree to the inspection, they will give me a loaner, $100, oil change, full gas tank, and wash. Sounds like it might be worth the inconvenience if they don't total my truck. They only put about 8 miles of normal driving per day on the truck (indoors).
They prob wouldn't want me X anyway, since I only have 5000 miles on it and larger than stock wheels. And since I can't stand having my vehicle at a repair facility or dealership for a minute for fear of it being f-ed up (which it often is), I doubt if I could handle 3 weeks. The letter says the program is to inspect engine status, powertrain, and emissions at the Nissan Technical Center. I assume they are just sending this out to some owners near their facility.
