I have purchased a set of red lug nuts from e-bay, but the color peels off too easily that I'm actually shocked :-( I can easily scratch it with my nail and it goes off, not to mention touching with the socket wrench...:( Wondering if it would be the same with all different color lug nuts? Is there anything better on the market when it comes to black ones so they would actually stay black when in use?
Thanks

I bought these when I added the wheel spacers as the stock lugs are not deep enough to tighten them enough. They've lasted well so far, but I keep spares in my rig just in case. But they feel a lot more solid than the lugs that came with the spacers!!! I've put them on and taken them off twice, with a torque driver and the paint is still there, no shipping/peeling of any kind.

Stock '96 pathfinder lugnuts are black (at least it was an option). Otherwise just like stock.
