Hey all, just picked up another Xterra, this one's a 2006 Off Road in Knight Armour.

Previously had a 2001, 2010 SE, and a 2007 Off Road (which I really should never have sold).

Just finished a really short stint in a 2008 2-door Rubicon and I gotta tell you, it feels SOOO good to be back in an X! World of difference! :)

Dealer is throwing me some new tires this week. Appears it's gonna be the Toyo Open Country ATs and will likely stay with the P rated 265/75/16. Thought about moving up to the LT rated 285/75/16, but by most accounts it's overkill and will make it a bumpier ride and decrease gas mileage. Aside from that, will likely leave it be for a little while and see how things go before I start doing anything to it.

That said, I'll likely opt for an external tranny cooler shortly in an attempt to avoid the potential rad/tranny issue that these things are famous for...

just put in a 'join request' on the NWXC FB page.

i actually bought some factory side step/nerf bars/whatever you call them off of one of the guys from the NWXC a couple years back for my 07 Off Road. his name escapes me now. he had like a dark cherry red/maroonish X. super nice guy and he installed them for me right in his driveway...

Well you better be the guy I just added. A few too many red X's in the club to be sure, but if it was a few years ago I would guess Ian.
