Howdy!
I stumbled across this site a few weeks ago and did a little lurking before signing up. This place is definitely a wealth of information.
We bought our 06 Xterra OR the day before Thanksgiving. I have to say we've been looking for a replacement for our Dakota since spring, and the Xterra wasn't really on the list until I was looking at an FJ. I found some head to head comparisons with Xterra and that convinced me to take a look.
Honestly never thought I would own a Japanese vehicle (yeah I know it's made in TN) but so far no regrets.
It's the wife's DD but she said I could drive it on weekends

Dude, you're screwed... with her driving it all the time she'll totally notice when you get it lifted and throw on all that Shrock armor
Welcome - you made a good choice!
Nice looking ride! I also never thought I'd buy anything not American, but have also been loving my X. Good luck with it!

Yeah I know, but she's already got her eye on a Shrock bumper
Anything I do to it will be OK with her.

Thanks for the heads up. Big thing will be getting schedules to mesh, as that is usually a very busy time work wise for me. But heh, sometimes you gotta stop and relax a bit.
Thinking of Moab in May..
moab is looking better and better after reading the article in the mag.
