Except holy cow it costs a grand. For that much I could produce a line of stainless grills and make it all back.

They also have the regular aluminum ones for the same price:

I'm guessing it's a mistake. But even so, thoughts? I think it would look a little weird with the borders.

EDIT: Further Googling shows MSRP for that style of grille cover to be about $200, which is still kind of ridiculous.

$1000.00!!! Good Gawd!! I was expecting something a bit more... MORE! 1K for grill inserts? That is ballsy!

What you found thru google, was it the same product from a different vendor, or different all together?
$200 is more in line, but yeah, I agree, still too much!

I surely hope that its a price error. No one in their right mind would spend a freaking grand on grill inserts

I think I'm going to make my own. I took a baseball sized rock through my grill (from an oil patch truck) on my F-150 that wrecked the rad. I'm not willing to take another one with this truck.

It may be similar to what some sellers do on eBay. They may be out of stock but not willing to remove the listing so they put an outrageous price on it so no one buys it till its back in stock. That way people can still add it to their watch list, or in this case bookmark it and then buy it at the correct price when they have more. The same one for the Frontier is $125.

I think it's a price error, too. Most inserts only cost less than 200 bucks or you can do your own by getting a wire mesh sheets.
