Well, this is sorta Xterra related.
Have you ever sat down and tried to remember all the vehicles you've owned in your lifetime?
How about compiling all of the pictures you had of them??

I am 38 and just did this. Had a lot of fun doing it.
Thought I'd share it with you guys since I am sure many of you can relate.

Enjoy,

1996 Nissan Maxima SE... Formerly known as Maximus... It got turned into an accordion when I got in a three car pileup.

1996 Chevy suburban... Formerly known as the land yacht... (sorry no pic)

Sorry no pictures, but...
1. A really old infiniti that i had forever...that thing was incredibly well built.
2. 1999 BMW 325i
3. 2003 Mercury Mountaineer.(this thing sucked ass)
4. 2005 BMW 325xi
5. 2006 Lincoln Aviator
6. 2008 Xterra Offroad

Yes, i got on a car buying spree, but its because i couldnt find a car that i liked enough to stick with. The infiniti had to go because it was so old, the first bmw only had 2 wheel drive which i didnt like. Got my first SUV which was the mountaineer, but this was the worst thing ive ever bought in my life..always breaking. THen i got the BMW 325 xi because it had the 4 wheel drive. Then i got in the SUV mood again and got the lincoln aviator (and its a biatch to pay off). Finally i got my wonderful xterra OR. I think this is my favorite of them all so far.

Currently i still have the Aviator, the 325xi, and the xterra. Im getting rid of the bmw shortly...and the Aviator is now collecting dust in the garage.

I replaced my 2001 Dodge Ram with the Xterra due to family needs but I loved that truck. If I had the finances, I would have replaced it with an 06 Power Wagon. Giddee Yup!

well here is my list. it sorta read like a story....

1986 plymouth reliant - maroon 4 door
gift to me from my grandfather in 1990 my first car!!

1988 plymouth reliant - maroon 4 door
the 86 needed an expensive repair according to the dealer I took it to for
diagnosis. (never believe the dealer is lesson learned) traded it out for the 89 model which was used - 1991
they gave me 2300 for trade and VERY next day it was on the lot for 4500.

1996 nissan pickup king cab 2wd bought new in 96
traded the k-car in for it.

got married right before buying this truck
new wife had a 91 hyundai excel 5spd

traded in 96 nissan for a 98 cherokee 4x4 new in 1998
had kid and wanted a bigger family car, wife started to drive the jeep and i took over her hyundai because i worked outside home she didn't so the milage was the factor plus saftey with the kid.

traded 98 cherokee in for a 99 plymouth grand voyager - new , 1999
the jeep was a lease. i made out on the deal actually. but never lease! had a new baby right before we traded.

the hyundai excel was having issues at this point so we traded it out for a 2000 hyundai accent 2 door gold 5spd. 2000

in 2000 i bought a third car, a used 1988 ford bronco 4x4.
it was awesome! i put some money into it, new paint, axle, wheels. it was nice.

in 2001 we traded the grand voyager in for a new hyundai santafe 4x4.
right around the same time, the wife totalled my commuter car, the accent.
i went probably 2 months with no car trying to save money but the commute was killing me so i got another hyundai. a new 2001 elentra gl
it was black. never buy a black car! within 2 months the paint s was flaking off all over. they repainted the tops but it was never to my satisfaction for a new car.

traded the santafe which was pretty good on the beach, in for a 2002 nissan xterra 4x4 xe. new, and yellow! this was around may 2002

traded the 2001 elantra in for a new 2003 dodge neon sxt 5spd silver in october 2002.

sold the bronco to a co-worker of mine because the wife's accident and tickets she had tripled my insurance. I was paying 80$ a month just for the bronco and it was just sitting there. I figured heck, i have the 2002 xterra so i have redundancy in that i have 2 4x4's. sold it for 4500 in summer of 2003.

got divorced around may 2005

ex-wife got the 2002 xterra while i finished paying it off, lucky me...

i got/kept the neon.

traded in the neon for a 2006 honda civic L 5spd around jan 2006. nice car, sorta felt cheap but awesome milage. the neon was getting up in miles and i needed something fresh. at this point, i still commuted 45 miles EACH way. every day.

moved alot closer to work in may 2005.

i got scared about a local story of a honda accord being run over by a suv so i went and traded it out for the 2007 xterra S 4x4 silver december 21 2006..

been in love ever since...

I've got the short list...

85' F-150 (Unknowingly loaned to me by my father. I sank a bit of money into it for maintenance, only to have him take it back and sell it for which I didn't receive a dime in return. Hard lesson learned).

88' Chevy Camaro (Bought it from my mother after US Army Basic training for $700 and it lasted me three weeks)

97' Dodge Dakota (Great little pick up, I drove it like it was the 5.8 RT, but it was in fact a 2.5)

04' Nissan Frontier "Desert Runner" (Took care of it the best I could, but other people messed it up i.e. burglary twice, door dings and my dumba$$ brother burning holes in the seats smoking in it.

07' Nissan Xterra (Hope to have this one until either it or I die)

I love the guys who owned cars the year i was born! HA! OLD DUDES! For the record i was born in 1977, so i guess imm old now too.

87 dodge lancer = I had a wodden board under the dirver side carpet so my legs wouldnt get wet when i drove it in the rain. It used to shift into reverse or neutral on its own........

92 chevy s-10. I loved this truck, two wheel drive but it went anywhere i asked it to go. And greowing up in chardon ohio, it was great in the show!

84 chevy c-10. I got this because i just graduated from college and the s-10 litterally blew up..........i mean like explosion. This truck did ok for a while, but it wouldnt turn off one day and then made a loud shot gun noise..........good thing i was at a dodge dealership..or was it?

2002 dodge stratus = The other old truck died, and i could afford the stratus, and it was new! Even had ac, which i never had before. But at 15k it needed a new transmission, then it had the front suspension replaced about 6 times before the warrenty was up. Hated this car. So after putting 1000 bucks into it to fix the thing up yet again. 6 months later i went out and got what i had always wanted ever since i laid eyes on one.

My Balck Xterra.
