Damm, I like I Like I Like! I read somewhere install one side at a time. But let us know what you think and all, how they ride. They look a little stiff but how can I tell? Anyways, they look very well made, nice bushing, nice everything! I really like the construction of them puppies! Run out and put em on, take a ride and report back I'll wait! MC

Here's my buddies old 4Runner with Alcans in the rear. Great ride/articulation everything. Well worth the money.

Sorry for the crappy image, this was pre-digital era.

Edit your posting and replace the URL with this:
http://image06.webshots.com/6/4/7/40/78040740BICFLK_ph.jpg
and we will be able to see the full image, rather than just a thumbnail.
You get that URL by selecting the "full size" link on your webpage.

S_e_X-Terra,

You are building quite the machine.

I'm gonna have to add your name to the list of x's I watch.
KEEP WATCHING!!!

My plans for the X are super top secret :rr: LOL just kidding!

But trust me, by this time next year i will have put enough money into my x to buy another one. :tongue3: I dont plan on upgrading the suspension anymore (key words being dont plan), but there are alot more trinkets to buy for my baby, so..... let the buying begin!

I almost started a thread about this a while back, but was scared to. Has anyone who's done any serious modding kept an accurate tally of how much they've dumped into their rig (Ponyboy likely being the obvious winner)? I remember thinking to myself when I drove the X of the dealership lot that I would probably dump about $3-4K into it. I waved bye-bye to that figure a while ago....

What kind of lift would these Alcans give alone, without any shackles?

Mine where arched to provide 2-3/4" lift, I have the PRG set up in the front
and the truck sat level.

when I added the SLR 2" shackles it gave me 3/4" more rear lift, now the truck has rake to it .

YUP, they are not on the website yet and it took me about three and a half weeks of waiting but I got em'

They are heave duty stuff I was told they were ready in a week but that didn't happen, then he said they were at the powder coaters and that carried on for another two weeks......when I finally got them I opened the box and they were unfinished "#@%*" so Ihad to hit them with a rattle can ..

adding the advertised 2" shackle (that was actually 1-1/2" eye to eye )
it gave me 3/4" of lift which was fine for what I wanted. it also finally stoped the squeeking in the rear....finally
