I installed AC shackles and a 2" spacer this past weekend, and
I LOVE it!! All my other cars have been lowered/slammed hondas.
Even though this was only a 2" lift, it's still my first lifted vehicle. I
keep going outside to look at the car. :compress:
Shackles gave me exactly 2" in the back. The spacer gave me just
over 2" in front. My biggest worry was having the prerunner... back end
sagging look which was the reason for the 2" spacer vs. the 2.5-3" spacers.
And went with AC b/c I was able to pick it up and not have to wait for
shipping.
I wanted to retain the factory rake look as much as possible. Install
was really easy.
Now I just need new tires to fill the space. People have commented that
285/75 tires will rub at stock height. Will they still rub with the 2" lift?
