6/1/11 - SOLD my TS Parts & alot of the exterior stuff... I wasn't getting the performance that i was wanting, it was always lacking just a bit... so i bit the bullet and reverted back to semi-stock until i'm able to do my full on build and turn this into a dedicated toy/chase rig... stay tuned...

Finally figured out and finalized the rear suspension this weekend guys... Spent Saturday at krawltex in Austin, we'll be starting the cantilever set up in April!


And thank for the replys guys, glad y'all like it more pictures from this weekend to come...

great looking X there Travis. really sharp! loving the TS...u better not get rid of it! :) also where did you get your rear extended bumpstops? i need to get extended ones because of how much travel I have and how long the shock is.

questino for you, I am REALLY close to pulling the trigger on some 17" offroad wheels. I have a good place for 1.25" adapters for them.

What size tire are you going to be running on yours? I know it's a bit different since you are t-swapped already. I was thinking about 285/70/17's but I am unsure how much trimming is going to be needed w/ the wheel spacers/adapters.

i'll be running 285/70-17. how much lift are you running? you shouldn't have an issue with 1.25" adapters and 285/70-17!!!

I've got AC's 2" lift coils on stock offroad Bil's up front. I *think* i'll be ok. I would really not like to have to cut anything.

you shouldn't have to cut anything, but the melt mod will be required... with the stock 17" ORs and 285s with adapters you should have a stance simular to the guys running procomps and 285s... and if there is any trimming it will be very minimal on the rear most portion of the front fenders and the fender liner will cover it. Rook has done a good bit of trimming and he might be a good source for how to trim the fenders if needed.

the only way to know for sure is a test fit... i do know that 255/75-17s will fit with out the need to trim anything... they are a bit taller than 265/75-16s but a bit narrower...

i'll keep ya posted.

sounds good! that's what I was thinking, but i wanted to make sure. how about another ? for you. are the TPMS off of the xterra S/offroad/SE wheels the same as the tpms on this type of titan wheel? i know there is a diff between the steelies and alloys.

waiting on spindles to get here, then i need to get to krawltex to fab up the rear shock hoops... after that i should be 99% finished... i'm hoping i'll have everything finished and ready for final paint/spray liner by mid march...

FedEx dropped off the tires yesterday, got the tires mounted today... just waiting on my stainless lines to get here so i can finish the front Titan break swap.
