I looked at 3 places and couldn't find the mag tonight. Tomorrow I will find it, even if I have to take a vacation day!

"February 07 Issue" ??!?!
We are barely in December let alone 2007...
Yep - Cover main story is "CLIMB! Building the Ultimate Jeep TJ Suspension" and has a White Jeep rag-top crawling uphill on.

anyone with a copy want to scan it?
Hold on - don't do that!

First, it would be illegal to share that, even if it's just part of the magazine, without explicit permission from the publisher.

Second, one of the magazine's editors is a member of this site, and it would be better to have him stay a member, rather than get him pissed off.

Maybe there should be a new Forum started? Is there any way to do 'sub-forums'? I was thinking something like a "Project Xterra" forum, with subforums for 'X-blade' and maybe also ponyboy's and flipflop's trucks, and any others that come along. Then, in the 'X-blade' forum we could ask if it is OK to scan the magazine contents, or even better, if the various articles can be made available online by the magazine publisher.

Sounds like a good idea.

I agree with not scanning it.

What would you guys think about giving Jordan (editor of 4WSU) his own subforum like Shrock and PRG? This way he could keep us updated, and ask questions at will.

Shrock and PRG have "forums" (not "subforums"), under the heading of "Vendors".

If true subforums aren't possible with phpBB(the PHP Bulletin Board software that is used for this website), then how about a new heading like "Xterra Project Trucks"?

Then under that heading have a forum such as "Project X-Blade (4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine)".

Maybe also have a forum for "What is a Project Truck", so people can discuss things such as whether or not ponyboy and flipflop's trucks should get their own forums under the "Xterra Project Trucks" heading.

I stand corrected.

How many inches is that rancho lift?
It's a prototype Rancho Suspension Quick-lift System, (which should be on the market soon), for the Xterra, that gave it a 1.5" ride-height change, sits perfectly level and got rid of the nasty bottoming out of the rear. Complete details/part numbers and results can be found in the magazine artical.

UPDATE: What's next for the Project X-Blade?
ShrockWorks Rock Sliders installation and testing.

Well I read the article, Go figure a big giant national book store at the mall did not have the Magazine but SHEETZ gas station did.

Nice article. I liked the Gone Moab 2006 also. I like the whole magazine, nicely done I'll be a subscriber soon.

Funny as all get out was what the Jeep owner put on his shovel on page 47. Big letters PLAN B. LOL I gotta copy that!

The rancho lift was interesting, but will probably cost a bunch of $$$. The front seems to just lift up the coil mount location so you can still use the stock springs.
