What grade of gear oil are y'all running when you change out your fluids for your front/rear diff and transfer case?
75w-90
75w-140
85w-140

Thanks,

So anybody?
First off, I ALWAYS use synthetic and have for the last decade in all my vehicles. The only thing that keeps our trucks from grinding to dust is a thin layer of oil....
That said, I use Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 in the front and Severe Gear 75W-140 in the rear (Dana 44).
I use Redline for the transer case however. D4 ATF. It's slightly thicker than Amsoil ATF and is GL-4 extreme pressure rated (which is awesome)!
So I am going to replace all the fluids in my X, but I was wondering how much of each do I need. I looked in my manual but couldn't find it (radiator, TC, front/rear diffs, and manual trans).

If you go to Amsoil type in your info it spits out.....
Speaking of synthetics hee hee.

thanks usmc I really appreciate it, I am going with royal purple for almost all the lube, not sure what I want to do about radiator coolant though (I am going to add the purple ice additive though)
Alright, i am new to Nissans, but definately not new to cars, and when checking out my power steering fluid it appeared different (red?) than what i had on the shelf. Looking on here it says that i need to basically use Dexron 3 (or similar) transmission fluid in my power steering? On Amsoil's website it says that i need to use a synthetic automatic transmission fluid.

Just making sure i am reading this correctly....
