Has anyone put 285's on a stock X OR? I heard they fit with just some minor rubbing that can be eliminated with the melt mod but I haven't seen any pics of how the set up looks. Anyone?

I have Firestone Destination MTs that are 285 and there's a slight rub. Very minor, only occurs when doing slow speed u-turns. Nothing to worry about in my opinion.. not the OR version but I hope it helps u out..

btw it looks way better without the step rails..

go with 285's....its a cheap lift
That's right. And the only lift that adds clearance under the diff!

My friend has an S trim with 285s, and the melt mod solved most rubbing issues, but he can still get a bit of rub when we're really whompin'. No big deal, but, I mean, you're gonna lift it soon anyway, right?

Get 'em.

only have a couple hundred miles on the firestone destination MT's. My cousin who manages a firestone shop (I know they suck, he even admits it) said that these will last 40k miles as long as I rotate them and keep them properly inflated. So far the tires are working great and makes my X look better than my buddies OR X.
