Never got to really flex the x but since i dropped the rear lift due to damn driveline irritation, i kno it says 2-4" but is it safe or any positives in running 2-4 with only 2" of lift? Also will my stock bils work?

If you only have 2" of lift stick with stock shocks or 0-2". The 2-4 will bottom out the shock on the regular and kill the shock.

take extended and collapsed measurements of the shocks you want to run. then, just flex out your truck without the shocks installed and measure to see if they will bottom out or pull apart. as long as they won't limit suspension travel in either direction, you're good to go!
