took the X by my buddy's local firestone for some service, alot of service
just hit the bigg 100 and tradign out ALL the fluids ..ie. brake, tranny, coolant, PS, etc.
anyway they found a small crack in the radiator...I have seen no drips or puddles in my garage ...they explained that the drip is leaking into the frame so I am not seeing the leaks ...
long story short about 500 + to replace with OEM
but I am hoping to not just drop in another 100k plastic radiator
is there an aftermarket metal drop in replacment for out trucks ???
thanks for the help

well upon further investigation ....
dont even know how this mix-up was made
it was not the rad. leaking there is a loose hose on the washer fluid bottle and the watter from it was leaking around the passanger tire
go figure how these people are even allowed to work on trucks if you cant tell antifreeze from washer fluid
??????????

Not man enough to taste it I guess. I hear Chuck Norris makes his rock candy with the sweet liquor of coolant fluid.

Double edged sword I guess. Take it to a shop and have some idiot do your service but it gets recorded on the 'books' or do it your self correctly and no 'real' record....
