Used Nisstec 2" I can shoot them your way for cheap (just DM me). But if I'm 100% honest with you, you may be better off.buying new ones off Nisstec. They're relatively cheap and will give more consistent lift if new.

Not an expert, but I don't think it'll work in any way. Been discussed a couple times too. https://www.thenewx.org/forum/9-general-xterra/94330-manually-locking-hubs-2nd-gen.html?amp=1

Oxford dictionary of American English says: Car: "a road vehicle, typically with four wheels, powered by an internal combustion engine and able to carry a small number of people." SUV: "Sport Utility Vehicle" Truck: "a large, heavy road vehicle used for carrying goods, materials, or troops."...

maxterra makes some sweet products! The fit and finish of what I've seen is all phenomenal. That said... I hate to be "that guy," but what's happening to your used and abused shrock? :D
  10. What has The X Done to My Wallet Lately?

    General Xterra
Thanks! The swap isn't exactly where I want it yet, but it sure is closer! Yes, it's curved. 32" ...I think? It wedges right in there snug and then is bolted to the factory crash bar. Aims a tad low for my taste, but not bad by any means.

Thanks for the help. A lighter spring is still the option, and it will allowed more compression and a lower ride height, meaning more droop.

Very, very little. A dismal amount. About 1-2" tops. That's why lighter springs are in my future. Travel is more important than lift:).

No worries! Parts for the front: Glamisdude custom tophats FJ cruiser 4x4 passenger springs (too heavy even with sliders and skid plates) Tundra bil 5100 Moog LCAs SPC UCAs Hitachi inner tie rod Moog outer Rugged Rocks brake lines QX56 CVs (have extended chromoly shafts to modify OEM CVs soon)...

Lift numbers for nerds. These are from the FSM, but they are generous. My wife's 90k mile X sits lower. I'm looking into the rear sitting uneven, but alcans/new shocks for the rear and softer springs for the front go in soon, so I'll worry then.

Titan swapped. Here is the before (with mild lift) and after. And next to my wife's stock height. (Angle isn't great. Sorry). In the next month or so I'll swap in my alcans to get rid of the awful Carolina squat. -- Also the FJ springs I used are too heavy. I'll be switching to 4runner...

Funny you should say that- I just Titan swapped :). I live in a sub-700 sqft casita- but I do have a yard to work in. I didn't have any CBC with the stock arms and bil 5100s set at 1.5". I'm not an expert on wheel travel, but I believe my setup was used to pre-load the strut, whereas yours...

I've posted this somewhere already, but here it is again: After being teased by a buddy in a 4runner about not having a "crotch vent" -- I made my own. It's ultra ghetto, and mostly a joke, but here is the: xTerra Crotch-Cooler 2000! The air pressure is not fantastic, but they point right...

First of all, sweet Audi! I've tried the second lift that you have listed. It's a fine enough kit, but the first one you've listed is going to give you more lift (better approach and departure angles), better shocks in the rear, and a chance at better alignment. -- you probably know this...
