TimmG Thanks all. I checked out the ride that's coming up. I won't be able to make it. Plus it wouldn't just be me. I have a family of 4. And with all the fees that's a lot of money. If rather spend that on the car, and go ride around in someone's field.

CroftonBilly Welcome. Here's a list of MD folks. @Old Navy can add you to it.

You should tag up with ECXC to meet with locals to learn the ropes on the local trails. Your stock 4x4 trim should be fine on the green trails.

Xterras in MD/Offroading in MD

Located in Bel Air MD new to the forum, and new to the Xterra. I currently have a stock Xterra. I'm focusing on the safety, and longevity aspects of it first ie: breaks, filters, better oil, fuel/oil additives. But I would eventually like to lift the Xterra about 2.5" put some bigger tires on, and probably get a new front and back bumper. I have never gone offroading, but am interested in trying. Is there anyone around who wouldn't mind showing me the ropes, or taking me out on a newbie trail so I can get an idea of what its all about?
