The grease overflow ports either don't exist or just don't work so if you try to grease them and flush out the old grease none comes out. They just fill up like a balloon and then when you drive it just explodes out everywhere. I'm done greasing them, as soon as they wear out I'm putting Hitachi's in.

|General_Tarfun||Confirmed vibes are gone after cleaning the inside of the wheels. The tie rod grease stuck everywhere was the problem. Hit the interstate today and took it up to the speed where it was happening and now it's nice and smooth.|

I finished up all of the led conversion over the weekend with the rocker switches:
After that I wanted to try to convert the mirror back lighting from green to white but I really needed to look into the alignment/vibration problem I've been dealing with over the past year. I was starting to worry it might be a safety issue so I went through the entire front end checking everything out. To my surprise everything looks great, the lower control arm bushings are fine, the lower balljoint has no play in it, the upper control arm mounts are fine, tie rod ends are tight, rack mount is tight, hubs have no play in them either. So that's all great, at least I don't have to worry about a wheel detaching or anything but it still doesn't help much with diagnosing the problem. So I decided to do a tire rotation since I was there anyway and found the inside of the front wheels caked with tie rod end grease, it was covered the entire way around and also had big drops of it in random places so I spent about an hours degreasing the inside of the wheels and scrubbing that grease off. I still need to hit the interstate but I think that might have been where the vibes were coming from.
After that I also rotated the SPC balljoints from setting B to D. I took it for a drive and my steering wheel was slightly to the right so I came back and adjusted the TRE's maybe a 1/4 turn and that fixed it perfectly. First experiences driving it in the city with the lowered caster are great, it feels more like a normal truck now. The wheel isn't fighting me the straighten back out like before so turning feels much easier. I don't think I have the toe exactly perfect and I know camber might be slightly negative now but it drives much better so I'm leaving it for now.

Finished the HVAC redo tonight, ended up using a total of 14 inches of led strip in there. Also started on the rocker switches and finished the redo of the shifter lighting. I left the led orange for the switch 'on' position and just changed the 'off' position backlighting.

I've always had an F-body growing up and the gauge cluster was orange so when I went to the X it wasn't really "new", but you definitely see how excessive it is when someone does a mod like this. It's pretty spectacular what some color does to it!

|copeterra||^^ Man that looks so good. I wish I could do this mod. I've always hated the Orange everything. BTW- you helped me last week on my Misfire issue. I haven't changed the plugs yet, but plan on it this weekend. Thanks again. Also, just realized you are in Atlanta!! I am close by right up 400. I may be in touch about the gauge panel|

Worked on some of the last led mods, did the HVAC (and cursed the engineer that embedded yellow into the actual plastic cutouts for most of that time), the VDC, the key ring, and the shifter, and the airbag light.
Here's where I tried to use white leds, it looks terrible. The reason they've always looked uneven is Nissan did a **** job with it and the orange plastic actually is unevenly colored.
What I found out would work was blue overlays, applied 4 layers thick to even the coloring out.
