Finally got the 1.5" wheel spacers back on after putting 285's on. Had to trim fenders a bit. But was able to keep from trimming the liners. Looking at it from the side can't tell anything was even done.

Super excited to get the x back from the shop today. I couldn't get the camber bolts out so I had them do that plus alignment. Planning to test out the new suspension this weekend.

Getting ready to swap pout both LCA's, pondering making an overhead console...doesn't seem to be much out there for us

Haha hopefully it doesn't get too messed up but it needed some major work after installing the lift and UCA... Also just realized only one of my SPC ball joints has a zerg fitting to grease it... I guess at some point they went to grease-able and I happened to get an old one? They do not rest anywhere near where the stock ones did. I did not realize just how much of a different there would be.

I think the greasable balljoint one is the new one. I've heard of ppl getting either new or old but this has to be the first time I've seen both. Make sure you grease the one that has the zerk fitting because they ship those with with pretty much no grease in them.

I went ahead and added some more grease to it. Kind of sucks that one isn't easily serviceable but I can always take it apart. I bought a grease gun just for them too.

Finally, installed my Off Road Gorilla diff cover. It took my dad and I approximately 2 hours, would've been closer to a 1 and a half but I didn't take off the Sway Bar. I learned my lesson.

We didn't have any issues taking off the old cover. We removed the fasteners that connected the brake line and the e-brake line to their axle mounts. The welded bracket on the OEM diff cover that one of the lines was fastened too. We dremeled it off the cover and cut off the slot tabs. Then I held it with some vice grips on a wood block and drilled it out with a 5/16" drill bit. Was able to reuse it, but had to cut the bolt that connected the brake line bracket to the repurposed bracket due to it contacting a rib on the diff.

It was took a little bit of time to align the Lube Locker gasket and the OFG diff cover, but it was mainly because of the rear sway bar being in the way. I recommend 100% to take it off!! Will make it less of a PITA. The OFG diff cover came with hardware, albeit it had an 8 mm 12 point head. I had no issues torquing down the bolts, and I tightened in a star pattern.

I purchased Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Oil and I filled it with 4.25 pints of oil. No Leaking! Overall, it wasn't very difficult, but took time, mainly because of me being lazy and not taking off the sway bar in the beginning. TAKE OFF THE SWAY BAR!! Nonetheless, it was still fun and was able to bust balls with my pops and work on the truck! A great way to start the weekend.

I would raise holy hell with the vendor and make them send out another one with the zerk. That's just lazy. At least send matching product, not one of each to make it obvious!
