Started to put the winch on the bumper to prep for bumper on Saturday and already have a problem the roller fairlead doesn't fit. Google, nobody has one that fits. So I made some new hole that match the lower mounting bolts and we'll see how that chooches

If its ARB, my fairlead bolts wouldn't work, so I just used the bottom two bolts to mount it. There is another guy on instagram with an ARB who had the same problem, he's the one who told me to use those bolts. I have the Smittybilt XRC 9500 FYI. Not sure which winch you have.

Yes arb, it was a great deal and the winch is semi serious badlands HF 9k. I've had every brand winch over the years by far my favorite was a two speed Tensen 4000/8000 lb respectively but those a rare as hens teeth these days.
I'd love to have one if anybody has a line on one
I'm going to see if my wife can help me get the holes lined up.

In another aspect maybe my Google fu is failing but I keep seeing something needs to be cut. Found a video about the first gen and a few threads but no clear cut how to. I'll keep looking unless somebody has the skinny

Everything happens for a reason .... Sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and make bad decisions.

I haven't driven at night with them yet, but I assume they're as good as a new set of headlights should be. If the bulbs are sub-par I'll swap in my slyvanias that I had just replaced in my old headlights a couple months ago. I also have my windshield tinted 50% so my night vision is reduced a bit anyways.
