I getting an error indicating an Invalid License. "This forum is currently not available on this app. Please contact the forum administrator".

Is anyone else having this issue on Androids?

I'm having that issue on the old app, which sucks. I always used the old app to access the forum because the new app UI is beyond ridiculous. The new app is the least intuitive app out of any of the apps I've ever used on my phone. I've used test apps that were developed by 12 year olds (maybe not really that young) from Android development forums that are 100x better than the new AG app. The new app seriously needs some work (AG look at Tapatalk and go from there ).

List of issues:
1. When I mark forums as "read" and I refresh, all the threads re-appear
2. I have to scroll through multiple pages to look at new threads, it's easier to have them all on one long list on one page
3. Sometimes, PM notifications don't show up.
4. I have to reload thread to see my reply
5. App is beyond slow. I run a Moto X Pure 2015, which is Moto's flagship device and not slow, but this app is molasses.
6. In a nutshell, sometimes simple is better. Way too much change went into the new app and it's not better than the old app.

I have several issues:

1 - Apple iPad Mini, iOS 9.2.1, Google Chrome web browser. In a moment of weakness, I tried the "mobile view" again. Now I cannot get back to the full version. I've tried clicking "full version" in the menu, "full version" in red at the bottom of the page, and "view full version" in grey at the very bottom of the page. All of them just re-load the mobile view.

2 - The notifications for when people quote you are not working

3 - the "likes" received/given still don't add up correctly

4 - using the "@" symbol on the new mobile app does not automatically put the "mention" codes in and there are no links for the "url" or "img" codes like the old app has

5 - I believe this is less of an issue but more of an enhancement, on the new free app (Apple products), when you click new posts, it previews the first post of every single thread rather than the first new post like the old free app did. Showing the preview for the first new post or not showing any preview at all would be much better. I don't need to read the same first post of the same threads 10,000 times.

Between the old app getting phased out, the poor UI for the mobile views, and the new app showing the first post all the time, AG is making it very difficult to browse the website using mobile devices.

Issues #2 & #3 scream database issues IMO.

Any help on these would be appreciated.
@AGAdmin

Any updates on issues 2 & 3?

Everytime I launch the app I am getting the same error. I am running iOS 9.2 on my iPhone.

@puxa-Xterra and @RikRong, I'm experiencing exactly the same things and agree whole-heartedly with your comments.

The mobile view of the site is considerably better than the awful new app itself. It is so ... slow ... to ... load ... every ... page ... no matter where I am or what WiFi I'm connected to.

On a positive note, Tapatalk itself is working for thenewx again! It's about time. Screw the new app.

Bump

Still looking/hoping for an update on issues 2 & 3. Sure would be nice for the enhancements that were advertised during the site "upgrade" to actually work.

@AGAdmin @AG Jeff (as if this will even help anything since the notification for mentions doesn't seem to work either)
