Largest Tire in Spare Well

I did a search but didnt find anything with the exact info I need.

What is the largest tire that will fit on the factory spare in the spare tire well?

I'm installing a 2in lift with slightly larger tires and dont plan to buy a new rear bumper with tire rack anytime soon.

The size of tire I pick will be based on how big the spare can be.

Thanks

There is a thread about this, but as you said, I didn't find it with a quick search either.

yup the cutoff is 285/75/16R once size up (295/75/16R - 33.5" diam tire) will not fit as I have tried it. Spare tire Fail!

Yep, my 285/75/16 fit until I got my Shrock rear bumper. Then it no longer fit under the X.

I've got a 255/85/16 under my truck in the OE spare tire location.. Technically a bit taller than a 285/75/16.

Forget 'Twitter', i'm on the CB...
