well i tried shifting/moving it, not a chance it will clear that bracket. im gonna shim that gap with some washers on that bolt. the more i look at the bracket, with daylight, i dont think i need to worry about it unless i get rear ended alot
Sorry just saw this. That issue is common but doesn't cause any functional issues. It can be trimmed but we choose not to in order not to weaken the bracket for those running a body lift.
Any other surprises when installing the rear bumper? Going to be installing mine Saturday, as well as sliders. Don't have any air tools so it's all going on by hand. Also curious what's needed for wiring up the liscense plate light.
We strongly recommend not using air tools on the Nissan trucks. The welded in nuts are not welded in well and have a tendency to break off inside the frame!
