So i took my test monday and passed and was woundering is there any one else out here with a ham Licences.Post up Thanks Onix

I've been taking the practice tests and all i need to do now is take the test. I even have a yaesu vx6r but have to keep my finger off the tx button

I too have the study book, but haven't taken the technician's exam yet.

I wonder why there is a convergence between xterra owners and people interested in ham radio.

For me, I just want an excuse to put another antenna on my truck.

Most likely because we like to go places that cell phones do not work. I had one incident where my CB actually saved me as no phones wore working in the area that i had a flat tire and no wheel lock key, I was able to get on the CB and call for a tow truck that came with the proper tools to get the wheel off ( this is before the X). Now on trips im prepared for everything (well almost)

I got my license 10 years ago, first as VE7TRD and VA7TRD (I used to have a 4Runner) but now I'm VA7XS.
