LED Headlight/Foglight Upgrade...?

I've got an '07 X without foglights and was about to pull the trigger with Duncan on some foglights and the blinker stalk.

Questions are..

Do I go with the white/yellow and should I upgrade to LED?

He's got 3 levels of kit-

1) 115$ basic halogen
2) 145$ LED fogs
3) 225$ LED headlights and fog lights

All in either 3000k yellow or 6000k white..

Thx guys~

#2 in 6000k then get some 6000k halogen for the headlights or get 3000k if you actually want to drive at night for both
I wouldnt personally get leds for headlights unless it was retrofited

So.. Yea I actually wanna drive at night. Why would you go 3000k vs 6000k? Would the 6k's be too bright to run on the road?

Anyone else have input on going 6000k white fog lights?
I'm needing more light mostly camping and off roading and plan to cram a 22" light bar into the bumper mouth. Should I get yellow for actual fog use since I'll have the bar eventually or go brighter white for more visibility?
Thx agan

I'd spend half of that and order the same amazon crap he's going to be selling to you.

I have Philips 6k Ultinon LED fogs, the color is definitely more in the blue range than white. My 85 watt headlights are 4k and a solid white, anything below that is going to be more yellow. I wouldn't think of them as an 'upgrade' though. Sure, you get lower power usage/less heat in the housing and the color is much more modern looking but in terms of actual lumens you'd probably get a better visible light out of a halogen.

My old setup was the H9 mod, you can clip off a part of the H9 bulb socket and then it fits our factory H11 harnesses and let's you run 65 watt fogs instead of 55 watt, these definitely provided more usable light compared to the LED's which dimly illuminate more area due to their lack of focus. I also have a lightbar in the bumper mouth triggered by the high beams so when I need more light I can get it, otherwise I probably would have changed them out to a higher wattage halogen bulb. For camping/off road I definitely rely on the light bars more than the fogs.
