Any ideas Where this Came From?

Hey guys,

I found this plastic piece in my driveway today, almost certain it came off the X. Anyone know where this goes? Thanks in advance!

Thatís the tyrannyís Win98 token. It attaches to the bell housing just below the reset lever.

Youíll only have 500 miles to get it back on. Or the tcm goes blue screen.

That there is a DooHicky. Now doohickies were used to replace thing-a-mabobs when the whachamacallit broke. Without a doohicky the canuder valve will gum up. Once that happens.... well you end up in deep Doodoo... thus the need for a Doohicky.

Given your recent meeting with Bambi I'd look around the grill, bumper, fender liners, mud flaps...

How's the fix up going, all done?

The Nissan Xterra is "Everything you need, and nothing you don't".

Your vehicle determined that this part was not needed and rejected it.
As this part appears to be "handed" i.e. angled to fit on a particular side of the vehicle, expect to find a similar, albeit mirror image, part rejected in the near future.

Itís going, $500+ later. I swapped out the radiator support a couple weeks ago, I didnt notice anything broken while I was in there. I also replaced the left side plastic air duct. Everything is fixed except the top radiator mount I pointed out in a previous post. I havenít noticed any leaks with the radiator and temps seem to stay below 180.
