Hood Replacement - Any Ideas?

So we had some heavier than expected weather last night and a tree uprooted and fell on the front corner of my hood. With the structure of the hood, I can't get at it to pop it out. ImageUploadedByAG Free1468349897.394698.jpg

So a new hood may be in my future. I loved the scooped hoop someone had here once for sale and wish it were still available. Aside from just a replacement hood, anyone have any input.

If you haven't already, take it to a paintless dent repair shop and get a quote. Looking at the pics, they should be able to get that out. I seriously doubt you would be able to tell it ever happened.

I'm 99.99% sure the hoods are identical. I don't think the grill change affected the hood at all.

Hmmmm. Interesting. I know the bumper changed. I assumed the hood did too. But I have no basis in that.

Hoods should be the same across all second-gen Xterras. Theoretically a Frontier's hood will also fit as they share callout numbers, but I'm almost certain the molding on top is different between the two. The general shape, however, is a dead match for both fenders:

The plastic one: did you get bored and swap fenders?

Incidentally, I did recently swap fenders with another member and got a snorkel out of it, but it was the other side and he also had an Xterra...
