Overhead Console

Just thought I'd drop in and share some progress on the X. (Wife's DD)

Threw in a new overhead storage console from a 2016 frontier... The X had map lights only before. To my wife, I did this mod so she had a place for sunglasses. To me, I did this mod for a nice place for additional switches here shortly 😉
Pretty easy to do. The hardest part is getting the headliner dropped for the new bracket. Not so much hard as it is just a bit of a "Damn, I have to drop this headliner for a little bit of storage" Other than that, it was extremely straightforward.
Also as posted in electronics, I threw in a Gentex auto dimming mirror with temp and compass. Every X should have came with both of these in my opinion. But hey, it would've taken away "another mod"
Without further ado......
Also, my apologies for the individual pics. I am unsure how to post multiples at once on this forum

Before....

Well that's going on the list of stuff to do. Looks great!

Thanks y'all! Really is nice. Wife loves it. Probably not as much as I will once I get more accessories and switches up there 😎

That looks great! It'll be going on my short list. Did you have to do any cutting of the headliner or was it just a matter of swapping out the bracket and console?

You have to trim the headliner...
