Gearing/Locker Question ?

Do all Xterras that are geared 3.36 have an e-locker in them? I have been hunting for a pro-4x rear end, I found one that is an 07 with 3.36 gears, but the parts yard could not tell me if it was locked, nor could they verify that it was a pro-4x. They have a great price on it, and I am wondering if they are ignorant of what they have, or am I?

So in 07, did the offroad package include a locked rear end?

Yes all ORs for all years included the e-locker just like the PRO4Xs.

Make sure the donor vehicle of the diff u want is the same transmission (AT vs MT) as yours.
Since u refer to a 3.36 I take it u have an AT?
So your donor truck must be an AT as well to have the same ratio.

Yes, I have an AT, and I will verify that when I grab it. They are asking like 600 bucks for the rear end, As long as it is in decent shape, I can't pass it up for that price. Plus it is local!
