PIC HEAVY POST! PLEASE DON'T QUOTE WHOLE POST WITH PICS!
Been a long, busy week!
After spending the whole week working on it in the afternoons, and then putting in three 12-hr sun-up to sun-down days in 86 deg sun and sweat and 2 days of rain Fri, Sat and today, I have completed Phase 1 of Operation Reclaim the Back End of My Yard

Clear the ground, remove all the brush and ground ivy, tear down and remove the decrepit broken 45-year old ivy covered fence and build a new 6' cedar privacy fence across the 64' back property line. Complete
Remove all the ivy from the trees, spray area with veg kill and lay down weed matting, install edging between grass lawn and back area, cover with probably 20 yds of bark chips. (...to be completed)
