Default 09+ Roof Lights: Roof Hole = How Big?

Does anyone know, off the top of their head, where + how big the hole is that Nissan uses to wire the 09+ roof lights?

I'm trying to figure out if I can run a Sirius antenna through the factory hole, or if I'm going to need to drill another one.

Thanks in advance.

PS: I promise to post a full write-up of this stealth Sirius/XM install that I'm working on. Thanks to everyone who has been patient with my questions so far.

It’s sealed up pretty well. The boot is just under the front of gear basket on the drivers side. I thought about using it for my wires that I ran up to the roof but I ended up drilling my own hole above the overhead console.

You can sort of see where it is in this picture along with the hole I drilled.

Does yours not have a hole that's plugged for where the antenna should be? When looking for a place to put the antenna don’t put it where Nissan did. The over head lights cause the signal to get blocked. I eventually bought a new XM antenna and put it behind the gear box raised above the rest of the roof rack to improve the reception. If I had known I was going to have to do that I would have just removed the factory XM antenna and used that hole for my wires.

Thanks. That's a good question on the factory hole. M/T Pro-4X models don't come with factory XM, but that doesn't mean Nissan didn't leave the hole. I haven't pulled the roof rack to check yet. I'm trying to get this entire project mapped out before I start yanking things.

It' right above the overhead console. Allot easier to remove than the roof light panel. If you pull on it with a little force it just pops off, I open the sunglasses tray and grab inside that recess.

Hey austex, I just ran my xm antenna through it this week when installing my new stereo. The lights/roof basket come off really easily...6 hex bolts for the lights, 4 for the basket. After that, there is one plug to disconnect, then 3 bolts for the grommet bulkhead cover. I pulled the grommet out, cut the rubber boot down to the base, ran the wire through the boot/hole in roof and taped it up with heavy electric tape...just ran it through the car wash today and had 0 leaks. In the interior, I pulled down the sunglasses holder/Bluetooth mic console and reached through to grab the antenna wire, then fished it through between the headliner/roof(I have small arms lol). I pulled the weatherstripping , grabbed the plug and ran it down the A-pillar under the dash(I already had the kick panel/under dash panel removed for my install). I may have missed a couple steps but if you have any questions, feel free to hit me up. Overall, it wasn't very hard, just time consuming.
