I saw that and it made me want to get them.
but
All the 7089s I've seen installed have a -12mm offset and on the 4wheelparts website it shows on the 16x8 an offset of 0mm. Would 0 offset work on the x?

here's the link http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/Xt...n=PXA7089-6868

And finally isn't the X bolt pattern 6on4.5?

No, the bolt pattern for us is 6 X 5.5. I have the lug-centric 7089's and have had them on since Nov '07, wheeled w/ them many-a-time and have had no issues. You just have to ensure that they are mounted, balanced, and torqued correctly and you're fine. I had a set of custom hub rings made up ($75) and they've been sitting in my garage since the beginning of the year. I talked w/ Greg @ PRG about this extensively and he ensured me the same thing (mounting, balancing, torquing) and said not to worry. That being said, would I have liked to waited until these hub-centric models came out? Sure, who wouldn't want a little security? Am I worried about mine and racing to order these? Not so much. Oh, and the 0mm offset is just fine, though that along w/ being a 16 X 8 will require a little more work on "melt mod" than just melting back the wheel well liner (I Dremeled a little bit of the metal off as well).

Sorry TXterra37, incorrect statement, we are 6 x 4.5.

Take the tape measurer and check dimension from center of lug to center of the lug directly across from it ... 4.5" ... its the first gen that is 6 x 5.5.

Our back spacing requirement is 4" to 5"

The 7089-6868 is the correct application for this wheel. I run the 6089-6868, exact same wheel in chrome (and have the spare sitting in my living room today). Go to http://www.procomptires.com/pxa7089.html click on sizes/specs.

7089-6868
16x8
6x4.5
-12mm
4" BS
2200lbs
26lbs

Well now I'm torn between which wheels to put on my new BFG AT 285/75/16s:

http://www.procomptires.com/pxa8089.html - 'cuz I like the beadlock styling, but only found pics of them on an FJ, $118.34/per

or these, like XterraVT has
http://www.procomptires.com/pxa7089.html - 'cuz well, I've seen what they look like on an X, $125.56/per

HELP!!!
