Thanks for the tips guys. We just got back from Seattle and were there for about 4 days looking for a house to rent. We initially thought we found the perfect house in Puyallup, it was a nice rambler a bit over 2000 sq ft with a huge yard. We were all set to make it final with the agent to rent the house for next month and I decided to do a quick run for sex offenders in the area in the evening. The results weren't that great 3 sex offenders within 2 blocks and about 12 in a mile radius. One of the 3 was a convicted rapist with a breaking and entering history and known to use a knife. I've got a 15 year old daughter, a wife and a 80 year old mother staying in my household so that result just didn't cut it for me and we decided to scratch that house off our list. The day prior to leaving Seattle we looked at another house in Maple Valley and it was okay but on our drive out of the neighborhood we saw another house with a for rent sign. The wife called and set up an appointment for the next day right before we leave, the wife loved the house after seeing the inside and we filed our application to rent immediately. Today we got the email from the agent that she will be sending the documents for us to put a hold on the house to rent. So after 4 days of driving all over the Seattle area we found a house in Maple Valley which according to my daughter also has a great high school which her best friend will also be attending.
BTW after the trip I've now realized that my leaf springs are flat and all my shocks need to be changed. Anyone up for a MOD day after we get settled and I get my parts from Nisstec ordered?

You'll know which one is my X I have huge Nissan sticker on both rear side glass. Gas attendant in Oregon laughed when he read the "I know it's a jeep thing, that's why I drive a Nissan".

Well we start driving down on 8/12 and should be there by 8/13, I have to report for work on 8/14 but checking if I can get leave so I can sign the lease for the house. The wife and I will do a convoy driving down since we have two vehicles and we'll stop for the night in Coeur d'Alene and stay in a hotel for a week once we get to Seattle or until our household goods arrive. My daughter is excited and so is my wife after we went to downtown Seattle while we were down there a few weeks ago. I'm just happy not to have to drive down to Montana for groceries every 6 weeks because crap is so expensive up here.

Definitely, mine won't be hard to spot with the huge Nissan sticker in the back, a hitch basket attached, a roof bag up top, being followed closely by a Dodge Magnum.

Well it sounds like you are on your way to your new home redorange. Its been a while, but me and the wife use to live in Bremerton, WA while my ship was going through a three year overhaul. To this day she wants to go back because it so green, wet, and all the wild fruit and seafood!
Also a little off subject, but we may finally have a replacement for you for the Guam Region. He just registered recently, but hasn't posted much as to his actual location. He is Guam711.
So Good Luck at your new job and home ~ hope everything turns out OK!
