I think it's the angle of the dangle making you think it sits low. In one of the earlier pics you can see a more straight on shot and it's not all that low. It might be a bit lower than stock as there's a muffler cut out, though.

It doesn't look any lower than stock. Look at how much the shackles stick out below the bumper. That looks like stock. If the bumper was really that low you wouldn't be about to see the shackles.
Just noticed the exhaust cut out. So its 2"s lower. It looks like they had to do it to add the hitch. It's right under the winch plate and I'm sure the winch is crammed in there pretty tight.

if I were doing a full replacement bumper, a must have would be more ground clearance in the rear.

Just spoke with Roby a few minutes ago. The sides do stick about an inch, but no more than the sides of the front bumper. He said that if you were to look from the top of the truck down, the front and rear bumpers line up.

Correct - the bumper is designed like this because he incorporated the winch.

so, front and rear bumpers protrude past the fenders and quarters respectively? How do you like that if so?

Honestly, I don't notice it. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Shrock front bumper extend past the front fenders a little bit? Maybe not an inch, but a little? I thought I've seen that in person on DaveP's truck.

I love it! This might be my first gift to me once my divorce is finalized. The front bumper that is, I am hellbent on getting a rear bumper with a tire carrier.

Probably about 1/4-1/2" would be my guess, the rear bumper would be more detrimental though since it could hook on something and cause some problems.

Put tube fenders on the front and back. They'll stick out more but you can make 'em smooth so they won't catch on anything.

Oh, and, they would be BA.
